Great movie. Better game.
Sad thing is most people won't get the references.

Pretty good
Couple things I would change:
First of all, it doesn't have enough in the way of a curve in the prices of upgrades, and it ends up with the beginning upgrades costing too much to get without playing 10 rounds and the ending upgrades obtainable very easily. \
Second, I'm upset by the absence of things in space. Not a gameplay issue, it's just hard to gauge how far you sent someone flying when there's nothing to compare it with but a number.
Third, there are a few spelling errors. Should say "secs" instead of "segs", for one. I would also like to see the numbers on the power meter reversed, because right now it looks like an improper fraction with the cap on the left and the current power on the right.
Other than that, gameplay's great. Keep up the good work.
Great, save a few flaws
Artistically, the game was perfect. I loved the cutscenes, I loved the level design, I loved the little round cat. Couple problems with gameplay though... this game tends to lag on every computer I play it on. 3.33gHz (my fastest computer) isn't enough to play this game at full frame rate on Low. Also, there are just enough levels to draw you deeply into the game, but not enough to leave me feeling satisfied. I would like to see a level editor added. One last thing, I know it would kinda break the story (since you only play as one cat) but I would like to be able to drop more than one cat at once.
Very odd game
Although I hate to say it, the left and right storylines are disappointing. Of course, they're emotional, and they moved me, but really they were quite tedious to play through.
The main storyline was breathtaking. After piecing together what is happening, the story spirals into sadness and despair. The creatures become desperate. Only thing I would have improved is the graphics. As another person said, the graphics aren't... otherworldly enough. Just columns and blocks. It would have been nice to have been offered a glimpse into the creature's unique architecture. I also would have liked if the houses weren't just squares. All said, the plot/story, emotion, and atmosphere are wonderful.
I would like to see some more of this kind of game, not necessarily the left (racing) or right (item collecting), but more of the middle, a blend of exploration and moving fiction.
Wow.
Very nice. Very nostalgic. Killed my childhood.
It's because it's based off of Megan Man 2, seeing as how the first Mega Man sucked. And the intro to MM2 has become kind of an old pop culture icon (see I Wanna Be The Guy).
Quite interesting
Love stuff like this, I found a flash movie exactly like this one explaining the differences in sizes of cell bodies, but this is much larger scale!
Faithful to the first
But the huge power bar is really goddamn annoying, it covers nearly a quarter of the screen. WE DON'T NEED IT.
A couple things
About the game, it's really nice. I've been waiting so long for a Patapon clone for PC (I've played the game but I myself don't own a PSP). One fairly common complaint is the extremely difficult controls. I suggest you do something about those, they're pretty brutal.
To the other commenters: this isn't meant to replace Patapon. It's not a ripoff, seeing as how it's free and there's currently no Patapon PC port. Quit whining, now people without a PSP can play a Patapon-ish game. This is like making a Katamari game; there isn't one for PC, so it's fair game.
A bit too easy
It was a good game, and the gradient-free, high contrast art was very visually pleasing, but the game seemed too easy. I mean, instead of getting penalized when you missed people, the pills turned into flowers and gave you /more/ score.
Also, to address the review below me, what the fuck? Why would you rate a game 0 because you think drug addicts are bad? Seriously, did you hate Pacman because of the power pills too?
Good, but...
...comrade, I get great feeling that you not respect great country Russia and communist regime and that entertain flash game is for make fun! Continue to create mock of motherland and streets will run with blood Capitalist pig dog!
